What are the differences between the capture tools?

Optigo offers two different solutions for capturing BACnet traffic and uploading it to our Visual BACnet cloud service:

• Software
  The Optigo Capture Tool software, for Optigo Visual Networks or Visual BACnet, is free to download and can be installed on any PC running one of the supported operating systems. Customers provide their own capture interface (e.g. USB-to-MSTP adapter).
  
  
  
• Hardware
  The DIN-rail mounted Visual BACnet Capture Tool device comes in two flavours, MSTP and IP, and includes everything required to capture BACnet traffic and upload the capture files to Visual BACnet for analysis, right out of the box. Chrome web browser is required to manage it.
