OptigoVN supports secure user authentication for teams of all sizes. Users can log in using Single Sign-On (SSO) with Google or Microsoft accounts, or enable enterprise-grade SAML authentication for centralized identity management.
1. Initial Account Creation (For Admins) using SSO
If your organization is new to OptigoVN, the first user/administrator can create an account in one of two ways:
There are two ways to set up your organization:
-
SSO Creation
Use the Google or Microsoft SSO buttons to create your organization’s workspace instantly. -
Manual Registration
Fill out the account creation form with your organization name and contact information.
The first user to register is automatically assigned the Org Admin role. This can be changed after initial account setup, with Admins having the ability to assign different user roles (currently, the options are Basic User or Admin).
2. SSO for Additional Users
To protect your organization’s security, users cannot “auto-join” your OptigoVN workspace — even with SSO. Only Org Admins can invite new users.
Once a new user has been invited to your organization's OptigoVN account, they can use SSO to login to the platform going forward.
To invite a new user:
- Go to the User Summary panel on the dashboard.
- Click the Invite User button.
- Enter the user's first name, last name and email address in the pop-up User Invite form.
-
The user will receive an email with a registration link to activate their account. At this point, the user can use SSO to access their account right away, or they may create their own password should they not choose to use SSO.
3. Implementing SAML Authentication
SAML provides enhanced security and centralized user control for enterprise environments using identity providers such as Okta, OneLogin or Ping Identify.
Since SAML setup is a custom implementation, it requires coordination between your IT team and Optigo's technical support staff.
To begin your SAML setup or request pricing:
Email: info@optigo.net
Include your organization name and a brief request for SAML setup details.
