Upgrade Procedure

To upgrade the OneView™ on your ONS-NC600, please refer to the upgrade instructions or contact Optigo Networks at [e-mail] or 1-800-629-6559 for assistance.

 

IMPORTANT!
Before upgrading your software, reboot your system (System > Reset Unit > Reset All) and backup your configuration (System > Config > Backup). Proceed with the software upgrade only after both of these two steps have been completed.

New Features & Improvements

• Redundancy stability after full power failure of ONS-S8/ONS-NC600 pair.
  
  
• Reset button on NC600 enabled to allow factory default.
  
  
• Improved stability in edge switch registration.
  
  

Known Issues & Limitations

• Changing port VLANs occasionally throws an error. 
  Workaround: re-attempt VLAN change.
  
  
• Some downstream traffic does not pass on VLAN 1 with ONS-C801pi and C1601pi.
  Workaround: Use a VLAN other than 1.
  
  
• Notifications on Windows Chrome do not work when using "http".
  Workaround: Always use "https" (e.g. https://192.168.10.254).
  
  
• Inter-switch traffic on the same EPON (laser) does not increment traffic counters on bandwidth page.
  
  
• If data traffic (non-management) can reach the Network Controller, then an excessive amount of broadcast (DoS) may cause performance issues with the GUI (OneView).
  Workaround: Use a unique VLAN for management (OneView).
