Migrating from Visual BACnet to OptigoVN

Migrating from Visual BACnet to OptigoVN is simple, just follow the steps below:

1. Create an account at app.optigovn.com/signup
2. Create the OT Networks and appropriate Monitoring Nodes to map over the structure you have in Visual BACnet. Take note of the API Key in the Settings page of the Monitoring Nodes.
3. If you have Optigo Capture Tool installed and automatically uploading to a Visual BACnet server, please update your Optigo Capture Tool to the latest version. In the Settings page under Cloudlink, update:
   • server address to app.optigovn.com
   • API Key to the API Key from the previous step.
4. Inform Optigo Networks your account has been created. Optigo Networks will set the renewal date on your account to match your Visual BACnet subscription and will indicate how many Site Scopes and User Seats are equivalent for your migration.
5. Once you receive the information on the number of Site Scopes and User Seats. Purchase the necessary number of Site Scopes and User Seats with a Subscription Cycle of "Annual plan, paid yearly", and paid by Invoice. Inform your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager at Optigo Networks once this step has been completed. Optigo Networks applies your the remaining credits from your Visual BACnet on your OptigoVN invoice. Note: Don't be alarmed by the automated unpaid invoice you will receive from the system — we will revise and prorate the amount owed against your remaining credits and send you a revised invoice. 
6. That's it! You're good to go.
