Downloading Visual BACnet Windows Capture Tool

There are 2 different locations you can download the Visual BACnet Window's Capture Tool, depending if you are using Troubleshooting or Site Monitoring.

In both cases, the tool will download onto a Windows Server 2008 (WS 2008/2008R2 and Windows 10).

Site Monitoring

In Visual BACnet Site Monitoring the capture tool can be found in any monitoring node. Make sure you have clicked into an area with a zig zag beside the name.

Here, are the top of the page you will see Status, Share, and Tools. Click on Tools. 

Here you will find a link that says "Download Windows Capture Tool." If you click it, the capture tool will automatically download.

Troubleshooting

In Visual BACnet Troubleshooting, the Windows Capture Tool allows you to schedule captures to be uploaded into a folder. You can find the capture tool with the API key inside the folder.

To do this, you will need to first create a folder. Login and ensure you have "troubleshooting" selected on the left hand side. In the top right corner of the screen, select "New Folder."

Name your folder, hit "ok" and it will appear in the files list. Click into it. 

In the top right corner you will see a button that says "Capture Tool." Click it and the capture tool will automatically download.
